Global Civility
The campaign for Global Civility was founded in 2005 by Shaykh Faizul Aqtab Siddiqi. The Global Initiative is founded on the principles of wisdom, appreciation, selflessness, tolerance and affinities to our common humanity. These principles define the natural ideal character of a human being which includes some of the following qualities:
- To act in manner that is fortified with sincerity and knowledge.
- To respect and acknowledge every individual in society.
- Manage irreconcilable differences with rationality and patience.
- Creating a framework which omits the imbalance between the strong and the weak.
- Standing up against racism, prejudice, discrimination, sexism, intolerance, bullying, terrorism and extremism.
- Establishing all acts of service, charity and altruism without want for reward or gratitude.
We are excited to invite you to be part of a significant movement for change.
